By performing Doğuş Real Estate Investment Partnership Incorporated Company's Executive Board meeting under the presidency of Mr. Hüsnü Akhan in head office; The legislation regarding contracts performed with the persons settled in Turkey, with the Decision of the President, numbered 85 and dated 12.09.2018 about making change in the decision numbered 32 about Legislation of Protection of Value of Turkish Currency, has been evaluated. In related legislation, it was stated that, except the situations determined by the Ministry, persons settled in Turkey cannot decide using foreign currency or based on foreign currency for immovables and real estate buying and selling, all types of immovables and real estate renting including all types of vehicles and financial leasing and immovable and real estate leasing, as contract price in work, service and other contracts related with leasing and in other payment liabilities sourced from these contracts, and from the beginning of the date of enforcement of g paragraph of 4th article of the decision, prices those decided on foreign currency in contract in force those concluded before and within 30 days as indicated in mentioned paragraph, shall be determined again as Turkish money except the situation determined by the Ministry. In addition to that, with the provision of both articles taking place in mentioned decision, regarding the contracts to be concluded or concluded currently, it has been ensured that some situations can be regarded as exceptional by Ministry of Treasure and Finance. Within this scope, legal legislation is waited from the Ministry. In this direction, it has been decided to evaluate to make change in lease contracts for movables taking place in our portfolio following legal legislation of the Ministry, and determining leasing prices of real estates for October 2018 (for a month) as specified below; 1.For Turkish Lira leasing prices of "Gebze Center AVM" and "Gebze Doğuş Oto" taking place in our company portfolio, equivalent to Europe Currency ("EURO") that available tenants are paying currently, solely for the period of 01.10.2018 and 31.10.2018 (a month), by considering demands coming from tenant for narrowed business volumes of them and by considering negative effects of currency increases being seen in financial markets recently; it has been decided to determine 1 EURO currency as 5,90 Turkish Lira with weighted mean, and informing tenants in written that situation will be only for a month and it will not be accepted as a practice for future or as a general practice. 2.For the leasing prices of "Doğuş Center Maslak" and "Doğuş Center Etiler" taking place in our company portfolio, that are being paid as Turkish Lira based on US Dollar ("USD"), only for a period between 01.10.2018 and 31.10.2018 (one month), by considering demands coming from tenant for narrowed business volumes of them and by considering negative effects of currency increases being seen in financial markets recently; it has been unanimously decided to determine 1 USD currency as 4,90 Turkish Lira, and informing tenants in written that situation will be only for a month and it will not be accepted as a practice for future or as a general practice. |
